Referrals

Open your profile and use the gift button at the top, or the copy button in the Bring your crew panel. The link is the Cru home page with ?ref= and your wallet address added to the end. Adding the same ending to any other Cru page works too.

1. 1Someone opens Cru through your link. Their browser remembers your address. If they open several referral links, the most recent one is remembered.
2. 2The first time their wallet launches a token or buys on a bonding curve, your address is saved as their referrer on chain.
3. 3From then on you are their referrer for good, across every token.

A few details matter:

• Only the first launch or curve buy counts. If a wallet makes its first launch or curve buy without a referral link, it stays without a referrer permanently. A link opened later changes nothing.
• Other actions do not attach a referrer. Selling, claiming, and trading in a graduated token's pool leave it unset.
• A wallet cannot refer itself.
• A referrer never changes. Once set, it stays the same for every future claim.

You earn 10% of every claim your referred wallets make, on every token. That includes both crew rewards and creator fees, if they launched tokens of their own. The money comes from the protocol's 30% of the trading fee, which sets it aside as trades happen.

Referral rewards follow your referrals' claims. Since claims open 24 hours after a token graduates, that is also the earliest you can earn from it.

Your referral earnings collect in one balance across every token. You can withdraw it in ETH at any time from the Bring your crew panel on your profile. There is no waiting period on withdrawals.
